Also….excellent article, Heidi. It’s social media experts like you that gives me hope that all is not lost. Hope that people will start opening their eyes to the depravity of MAGA cult.

Thank you! I think there is a lot of hope and we are possibly on the cusp of completely changing the way we use and think about social media, but more thoughts to come!!

I am truly despondent over women like Jessica and her fan girls. I don’t know what’s worse: the lack of critical thinking among her followers? Or Jessica herself, who has thrown her moral compass into the sea in exchange for a few dubious head pats and a little bit of money. Just gross.

Thank you for writing this. Jessica Reed Kraus is a paid for shrill. She has no backbone, talent or morals. The more people are made aware, the better. She has abandoned any sense of good, for money, and it shows. I’m so glad that there are people like you lifting the lid on scam artists like Jessica.

Jesus this is depressing. I feel like I’m trying to stay afloat whilst wearing a lead suit.

Another thing I noticed about House In Habits Instagram account is that she NEVER posts any negative news about Trump. This week alone we’ve seen the judge unseal 165 page document submitted by Jack Smith in the

Jan 6th insurrection case. The documents exposed breathtaking details of Donal Trumps involvement & Jessica doesn’t breathe a word of it on her Instagram stories. Instead she’s fangirling over JD Vance. And she has the audacity to call herself an “Independent Journalist”…..shes a paid shill. She makes me sick 🤢

I hear you and absolutely feel your frustration. The good news is that Jessica has been artificially placed in this position, meaning a large amount of her “support” is manufactured and she doesn’t have a solid foundation or reputation to withstand the any sort of exploration into the obvious cracks in her facade. There will always be die hard fan girls, but the more we talk about media literacy, the facts (re: Jack Smith brief), people like Tim Dunn/Farris Wilks (the billionaires buying up media/AI companies to spread Christian nationalist ideology), how misogyny/patriarchy drives women to turn against each other, etc… the better off we’ll be. We are smart and capable and I think these people have greatly underestimated our ability to disseminate information quickly and efficiently as a cohort. Women created broad, effective social networks before social media ever existed.
